Volunteer opportunities now available in our ReStore

By volunteering with Habitat for Humanity RFV, you are helping us to build affordable homes with the people who make up the fabric of our communities — from our teachers, first responders, and frontline workers to hospitality staff and small business owners. Over the past 22 years, community members have contributed over 5,000 hours of labor to each of the homes we’ve built and logged hundreds of hours in our ReStore. Habitat RFV can only do the work we do with your help, so please become a Difference Maker by signing up to volunteer today!

Volunteer at our ReStore

Many people don’t know this, but our Habitat for Humanity RFV ReStore is the economic engine of our organization. The proceeds from our ReStore allow us to direct 100% of financial donations to our homebuilding fund and pay a living wage, including benefits, to our hardworking ReStore staff. For more about our ReStore, click here.

No retail experience is required to volunteer in our store, just a desire to have some fun with our team and help serve our valued guests.

Short- and long-term volunteer opportunities are available. Volunteer opportunities are open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

To volunteer at the ReStore, please call the ReStore at

(970) 945-9138 and select option 5 when prompted.

Bring your team for a fun day on our build site

There is nothing more rewarding than a team building day on our construction site. You'll not only help build a stronger future for the families we serve, you’ll also have a great day outside building community with your co-workers.

Team Building Group Guidelines

  • A full team build volunteer day starts at 9am and ends at 3pm.

  • Team build days are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis and can fill up quickly, especially during the spring and summer.

  • All volunteers in your group must be 18 or older (16 and 17-year-olds can build if a parent is present).

Please contact Volunteer@HabitatRoaringFork.org about bringing your team to the ReStore or getting a date set up this fall.
