Habitat for Humanity RFV has only four basic criteria to select families:
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident of the United States, and you must live or work in the Roaring Fork Valley. Area includes Aspen to Parachute.
- You must have a need for adequate shelter.
Your present housing could be unsafe, unaffordable, or overcrowded. - You must have steady income. Typically $20-57,000 per year for a family.
- You must be willing to partner with Habitat and contribute "sweat equity", 250 hours per adult.
